If you’re considering raising a family or already in the process of it, you’ll want to consider the maintenance of the materials you pick. Think about it, kids and even teenagers can be quite a bit to handle, and accidents inevitably happen – whether it be a chip in the vanity or a broken tile from dropping something on the floor. Lower-maintenance materials can save you quite a bit, not only initially but in the case that you may need to replace something later on down the line.
That being said, some materials that are more durable might be worth the investment now to not have to replace later.
